“Ecosystem Services: Using Public/Private Partnerships to Stimulate Market Development.” This was the presentation topic given by Billy Plauché at the 67th Annual Pacific Coast Shellfish Growers Association (PCSGA) and National Shellfisheries Association (NSA) – Pacific Coast Section Shellfish Conference and Tradeshow held September 30 to October 3 in Sunriver, OR. Robert Smith and Jesse DeNike spoke as part of the panel discussion titled “An Overview of Aquaculture Permitting in California, Oregon and Washington.”
Peter H. Dykstra joins Plauché & Carr LLP as the newest partner in its Seattle office. Peter brings a successful background in water rights, conservation transactions, natural resources, and government relations to his practice. In addition to counseling clients in these areas, he will be developing the firm’s ecosystem services practice. Most recently, Peter served as the Pacific Northwest Regional Director for The Wilderness Society.
“Resolving Conflicts Between Agriculture and Fish” Law Seminars International: Billy Plauché was a panel member and speaker for the topic, Water Quality and Salmon: Pesticides, Fertilizers, Heat and Finding Balance. The seminar was held April 15 in Yakima, WA.
